We are kicking off RCCR’s first online project: 100 years of Romanian Art and Culture in 100 images.
Taking 1918, Romanian’s Great Unification year, as a cultural milestone we’re looking back with great curiosity at the country’s cultural imprint over the past century.
From iconic to less renowned, we’re looking up (& noting down) names, works, moments, places and / or cultural stories that we find relevant to Romania’s recent cultural heritage.
The photos and additional texts (simply trivia, more often than not) are meant to give a life of people and things.
Our plan is to take on the subject of “the centennial” and tackle it on a pleasantly informative note.
We’ll upload new photo posts that we hope will trigger your curiosity and bring you something to enjoy. Join us on this trip on Facebook and Instagram and send us your own suggestions in FB messages, while keeping in mind that you should referring to this past hundred years.
We’ll stay committed to the intention of revealing Romania beyond clichés and all the positive vibes that come along this path.
Till soon // Pe curand!
